Course overview
This two-day course links occlusal assessment to restorative planning and diagnostic wax-ups. Dentists practise taking facebow records and jaw registrations, mounting study models and adjusting an articulator. Anterior and posterior waxing exercises are guided by technicians, with attention to tooth anatomy and laboratory communication. The syllabus also addresses tooth wear, changes in vertical dimension, parafunction and splints. It can be taken as a focused practical course or as a component of an Aspire diploma pathway; the standalone workshop should not be mistaken for the complete diploma.
