Course overview
Smile’s introductory programme is aimed at dentists learning how to work within NHS dentistry in England. It combines three days of interactive teaching with two days of restorative practical work. Topics include the performer-number pathway, clinical governance, documentation, communication and treatment planning. The course provides education about these processes; attendance should not be interpreted as approval for an NHS performer number or a substitute for the applicable entry requirements.
