Course overview
Attiq Rahman’s three-day posterior course develops decision-making and preparation skills for partial- and full-coverage restorations. It covers cracked and endodontically treated teeth, occlusal assessment and immediate dentine sealing. Delegates practise onlay and crown preparations, provisionals, impressions and bonding under rubber dam.

Practical experience
Prepare four onlays/overlays and four full-coverage molar crowns. Practise impressions, crown provisionals, isolation and bonding of at least seven units under rubber dam, finishing and polishing; includes immediate dentine sealing and restoration of root-filled teeth.
