This Smile diploma introduces fixed-appliance and clear-aligner treatment for relatively straightforward orthodontic cases. Consultant orthodontists lead a combination of seminars, typodont exercises and case discussions, supported by independent study between sessions. Each delegate is assigned a mentor, and the qualification requires a clinical portfolio and assessments. The programme is aimed at dentists building orthodontic skills within general practice.
